Thank you for your interest in the Halewood Production & Maintenance
talent development internship. This application takes about 30–40 minutes and must be
completed in one sitting. You will need:
Your ID document (photo or scan)
Photos or PDFs of your qualifications (certificates, transcripts)
A device with a working camera (phone or laptop)
A calculator and something to write on for the numerical questions
A quiet place with no interruptions — you must be alone: if another person
appears on camera, your application is stopped
Identity verification & test integrity. To keep the process fair for everyone,
the aptitude test is monitored: we capture a live selfie before the test and the camera takes
random snapshots while you answer. Leaving the test page, copying, pasting or using other
apps or AI tools is detected and reported to our recruitment team. Results are re-verified
with a short supervised test at interview stage — so the only strategy that works is doing
it yourself.
I consent to Halewood processing my personal information, qualification documents,
ID document and camera images for the purpose of this recruitment process, in line with
applicable data-protection law (e.g. POPIA/GDPR). I confirm I will complete the aptitude
test myself, without help from other people or AI tools.

Aptitude test — read before you start
The test measures mechanical, numerical and logical reasoning, safety judgement
and how you work with others. It takes about 25 minutes.
28 questions, shown one at a time. You cannot go back.
Each question has its own countdown timer (45–90 seconds). When time runs out, the question is scored zero and the next one loads.
The test runs in fullscreen. Leaving fullscreen, switching tabs or apps, copying or pasting is recorded and shown to the recruitment team.
Your camera stays on and takes random snapshots during the test.
Answer alone, without help from people, notes, calculators, phones or AI tools. Flagged applications are rejected, and all results are re-verified with a supervised test at interview stage.
